QC Year End Clearance!

December 26th - 30th

We are busy sorting and organizing so we will be ready to welcome you to an impressive sale event. During the last week of December you will find both cut fabrics, and bolted fabrics, at very, very low prices. The goodies will be heaped on the tables in the front section of the shop. Some of the pieces will be holiday themed, others will not. The discounts will range from 30% off to more than 60% off! These prices, for goodies of the highest quality, are not to be missed!!!

And for something a little different - how about a Clearance Creation Contest?! Use something you’ve purchased during the Clearance event in a project of your choice. You’ll need to get right to it, as entries for the contest are due in the shop by January 27th. We will display your creations, and then have guests vote for favorites. Shop gift certificates will be awarded as prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ($100.00, $50.00 or $25.00!). So visit during the sale, shop for something that inspires you (at an amazing price!), and then let the stitching begin!!!

Some of you got a look at the literal mountain of boxes blocking our way on Tuesday. I’m so silly - I didn’t believe the FedEx driver when he said there were more on the truck after his first dollie load… The first boxes we cut into held the newest Kaffe shipment. The collection, Vintage, is a limited edition release of some of the incredible prints created by the Kaffe Collective over the years. Enjoy Beaded Tent, Bead Stripe, Flower Lattice, Grandiose, and Lichen in the glorious colors the group is known for. These may very well be exactly what you need to add to your Kaffe collection - the perfect prints for borders or backings!!!

Sometimes the best little gifts arrive a bit later than we wish… We just opened a box filled with wonderful scissors. The lovely black scissors, Moda’s newest offering, are cute, very sharp, and very nicely priced. We currently have several out of their packages so you can give them a try! If Santa stops in on Friday or Saturday he or she can snag some to add to your stocking!

Are you looking for a spectacular quilt to make little-by-little over the coming months? Rockridge, new from Nancy Rink, might be just what you have in mind. The 89” x 89” medallion style quilt, worked with her gorgeous new Paper Petals fabric collection, will be created over the course of 11 installments. Worked in this manner, the stunning quilt can be made by everyone, even those newer to quilting. We have a very limited number of fabric kits available for order - let us know soon if you would like to participate!

Registration fee $5.00, patterns $3.00 per month for 11 months, fabric kit $174.00
