A new issue of our subscription newsletter, And Sew On, was published earlier in the week. If you are a subscriber you may pick up a copy when you visit the shop. If you left self addressed, stamped envelopes you may have already found your copy in your mailbox. The issues contain news, special offers, and a free pattern. And maybe even bigger news ~ our 2024 Snow Day Surprise kits are ready!

These fan favorite kits include fabrics for the top and binding of a 60” x 60” historically inspired, pieced quilt. The new design, like many quilts from the 1800’s, features pieced blocks that travel all the way to the edge of the quilt. You may notice the kit description doesn’t mention a pattern… The pattern is sent to you, via email, the first day in 2024 that 6” or more of snow falls on Quilters Corner (in Finleyville, PA!). We all know there is no better place than your sewing room to spend a winter day! If we are lucky enough to escape winter storms, the pattern will be sent to you on Valentine’s Day. Because the design is a surprise, the kits are offered at an incredible price before the flurries fly! We also offer an additional kit for optional borders that will increase the size of your quilt to 80” x 80” (the fabrics in this additional kit are offered at their regular price - we can best match your border kit to your Snow Day Surprise kit if they are ordered at the same time).
