On Saturday (11-4-24) those in our beginning of the month pieced Saturday Sampler program will meet at 9:00am. We will share the new block kit, a bit of instruction, and news about all that is happening in the shop. This month we will also review the setting information first shared last month. You will see how to frame the blocks with a tiny border and triangles. They look great done this way, and it really is quite easy after a few piecing tips!

Good gracious there is lots going on in the shop at the moment! We are working like crazy to get things in place for two of your favorite shop events. From holiday fabrics and projects, to fabulous table settings featuring the work and treasures of your friends that work in the shop, there is so much to see. Be sure to remember your items to donate to the food pantry so you can vote for your favorite tablescape, and don’t forget to snag your open house gift, our 2024 QC Date Book! QC Wholehearted Sew Along Begins! ~ November 4th

We have blocks and notes for our newest sew along to share this Saturday. The program includes six weeks of stitching - creating six classic blocks (and lots of variations of those blocks) pieced into heart shaped settings. We’ll share the fabrics we are using, ideas for other combinations, and notes about some of the techniques we are using. You can make this one in a range of sizes, from crib to queen. And maybe the best part - the only fee to join is the purchase of the pattern! A little sewing each day and you will have a terrific top in record time!

While I was at Quilt Market Tula’s sensational Besties collection arrived! Tula describes this group as her tribute to the love we have for the beautiful creatures that are our pets. You will find charming cats and dogs in the collection, but other pets, as well. Be sure to check out the goldfish, bunnies, hamsters, and even turtles offered in Tula’s signature brilliant pink, yellow, green, teal, and blue hues. Fantastic little coordinates are part of the group, too - tiny hearts and a fantastic hexagon starburst are going to work with all of her prints - past and present!
