Dear Friends,
Can you imagine being a Quilters Corner neighbor? I figure, last week you would have been rolling your eyes as you watched me, if you were… My youngest wanted photos for our social media, so I headed outside with a little pile of baskets, quilts, fabric, and four pins (you would think I didn’t know where to find a box of pins…). The sunny day made for a great picture of the new baskets sitting on the front bench, on an antique quilt. Next, I headed to the fence in the back. The grass was wet, so I draped quilts over my shoulder, and then began trying to pin others to the fence. Of course, as soon as I started the maneuver, a stiff breeze came up. I’d try to pin a quilt, the breeze would start, the pins would fall, and I would start crawling around looking for them while holding the quilts above my head to keep them dry. I now know pins in the grass are the same as a needle in a haystack!
Wishing you a week of interesting neighbors and lots of laughs,
Mary Beth
