This Saturday (12-3-22) those in our beginning of the month pieced sampler group will meet at 9:00am. We will share a kit for block #11 and the information you need to make the beautiful block. There will also be show and tell, and news about what is going on in the shop.

2023 QC Block of the Month Premiere 

Saturday ~ December 10th ~ 11:00am



Many of us have found that working a quilt little-by-little allows us to complete a piece we wouldn’t have dreamed we could create. On the 10th we will share information about the projects we are going to work in this way in the coming months. News about our 2023 Saturday Sampler programs (both pieced and applique), a new Simple Whatnots Club sampler, a glorious batik piece from Wing and a Prayer Design, Amish With a Twist 5, and several other stunning pieced samplers will be covered. Your next masterpiece may just be among the offerings! Please pre-register so we have enough handouts for everyone.

At this time of year we share kits for fun little holiday projects. Be sure to check out our Ho Ho Ho Mug Rug kit when you visit. Fabrics (you supply the batting) and the pattern for the 7 3/4” x 9 3/4” project come “packaged” in a cute little mug - the tiny quilt will be perfect for holding your mug of hot chocolate and a holiday cookie!

I hate to admit, I am giving you just a “taste” of what’s new with a group that’s easy to share, A Little Wine, from Dan Morris Design. Wine bottles, grapes, and swirls are featured on the tan, brown, rich grape, and green prints. I imagine the prints made into beautiful bags for the wine you plan to take as hostess gifts in the next few weeks, and the stripe print in Karen Montgomery’s Easy Striped Table Runner. In all cases, they will be an elegant addition, no matter the project.
