Months containing five Saturdays leave many wondering when their next club meetings will be held. So, this Saturday (10-22-22) those in our end of the month Saturday Sampler group will meet. We will share a new block kit (free if you bring last months for show and tell) and lots of shop news. Once again, there is information you will need in order to construct the block (if you can’t make it to the meeting your next kit will be just $5.00 - be sure to head to the shop when I am there so I can review with you!).

Our Stash Management session for October will also be held on Saturday (10-22-22). Ideas for working with your fabric collection will be plentiful. I can’t wait to see what you bring for show and tell!

QC Holiday Open House

November 4th and 5th ~ 10:00am-4:00pm



Speaking of date books, our gift to you during our Holiday Open House is our 2023 QC date book (if you miss the open house you can purchase them later for $1.99, while the supply lasts). We also will showcase new models, holiday fabrics, gift making opportunities (hopefully you will be able to visit while we still have free take-and-make kits to share!) and unique gifts (including the incredible baskets made by women in Africa - they just came through the door - a bit of work on my part is needed before they are ready for you!). I think I forgot to mention, there will be door prizes, and treats, too!

The new fabric arrivals are stacked everywhere at this point! Be sure to find Twirl when you visit. The Sarah Watts beauties each feature a little sprinkle, and swish of color and shine on vibrant solids. No surprise, they go perfectly with the butterflies from Firefly. I can imagine them in garments (the “hand” of the pieces is exquisite), and also in quilts, pillows, runners, bags…

I think I need some of each!
