Greetings!
Good gracious, the incredibly cold temperatures have meant there’s lots of salt on the roads here. My sweetie is really conscientious about caring for our cars. He decided it was best to wash his in our garage. He’s done it lots of times before in the heated space. What could go wrong? He forgot the youngest member of our family had played in the garage while he worked there during his last visit. As he washed, the water started to rise… The two year old had filled the drain with golf balls and stones! Good news - we now have a clean drain, clean garage floor, and clean car!

We have tried to contact everyone registered for our 2022 pieced Saturday Sampler program, Crystal Showers. As usual, there are more participants than a single session can hold! Those registered for the end of the month sessions will begin this Saturday (1-29-22). We are busy cutting kits, making samples, and figuring out all the information we want to share during the 9:00am session. This series is going to result in fabulous quilts - can’t wait to welcome you! |

Due to a staffing issue, our January Stash Management “session” will be a project display and letter picked up upstairs in the shop. We hope to meet for an in-person session downstairs in the classroom in February. |

At this time of year new fabrics that bring a bit of spring to the shop are my absolute favorites! Northcott’s newest, Modern Love, features exquisite flowers, leaves and dots bursting with the greens, rose, and plum shades of spring. Swirly Girls created a stunning new version of Grand Central using the prints. I resisted the temptation to stitch, in order to finish this letter!

During the winter months, please call to be sure we have made it into the shop before you set out for a visit. The weather can be very different from neighborhood to neighborhood in this part of the world!
Please note ~ As the CDC and state pandemic rules are modified, we too change our requirements. If you are fully vaccinated you may now enter Quilters Corner without a mask (if you feel comfortable doing so). If you are not fully vaccinated please continue to wear a mask when you visit. So very sorry - we do not have a public restroom. Our shop hours are currently 10:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Saturday.
